The Four Seasons of Marriage
Let’s talk about the four seasons of marriage: Spring, summer, autumn and winter. Normally, we think of marriage as a relationship with our partner, but he may also be the state of marriage, just as we are “within the marriage.” The inside of marriage is a relationship of intimacy with ourselves. We need a strong inside the marriage of love, acceptance, understanding and respect for our autonomy, to experience the peace and joy, and the connection in an accessible outside of marriage.
Marriage is spring, when the marriage begins. We are often young and enthusiastic without borders, and the optimism of the will. We begin at this stage to believe it - unconsciously - that is our partner for our lives to save and nearly all the claims that we ever dreamed possible. We are full of projections. At this early stage of development, we rarely see the essence of the man or the woman in front of us, because we are so blinded by the light of God or the Goddess, the mythological depends, in our view.
